We continually encourage you and provide direct support that enables you to:
• Update content in a hassle free manner.
• Have customized messaging for your clinic.
• Leverage the experience of other like minded optometrists in terms of creative ideas/content for your clinic.
The content runs on a fifteen minute cycle which is meant to coincide with the average time your patient spends in your waiting room and enables the patient to see the content material in its entirety during their visit to your clinic.
1/3 of the loop time is dedicated to your clinic with specific messaging with each spot averaging 30 seconds in duration.
The balance of the 15 minute loop is reserved for advertising - the majority of which is supplied by industry partners and/or your suppliers.
We work with the advertising partners to develop and cater messaging that is clinic specific. i.e. product specific ad might close with "Ask Dr. Smith if xyz lenses are right for you?"
The objective of the advertising content is to support YOUR business and in making patients aware of products that you offer, encourage them to make their eye care purchases at your clinic as opposed to the alternatives that are available in the market place.
We have content that includes:
• General descriptions about typical eye conditions (glaucoma, wet/dry macular degeneration etc.)
• Generic product information with respect to products such as multi-progressive lenses and/or different options available for contact lenses.
• Information with respect to diagnostic services such as retinal cameras and their benefits.
• Dispensary 'specials' and benefits of making your eye glass purchase with your doctor (price matching offers, warranties etc.)
• Advantages of purchasing contact lenses from your doctor as opposed to on the web
• Introducing clinic staff, welcome messages, staff bios.
All of our members are encouraged to browse our content library in order to benefit from the cumulative experience of ONN and its members.
Once you see something you like or want to try, you simplify notify ONN staff by email or phone, make your request and we edit/create content and update your play list.
We work very hard to make the implementation of a Digital Venue in your clinic a simple process. We have learned much since we started and strive to continually improve our efficiency.
Upon expression of your interest we:
• Provide a subscription agreement for your review.
• Explore your needs in terms of the size and # of monitors and provide hardware pricing for your review and acceptance.
• Confirm presence of hi-speed internet at your clinic.
Upon receipt of signed agreement;
• We order and ship required hardware to your clinic (media player, monitor, mounting hardware).
• We ensure installation resources are assigned to your clinic.
• Your screen is mounted, media player is installed.
• ONN personnel develop your own play list.
You will be up and running on the same day the equipment is installed.
You are encouraged to explore the ONN community on-line and browse the library of messaging and content that is playing in other independent optometrist’s clinics throughout our network.
We expect and encourage you to regularly update content and make requests of the ONN team to update content in your clinic.
Installation is the responsibility of the clinic. Majority of our clients use local resource / maintenance person to follow our simple mounting and connection instructions. A standard wall mount can be completed in 1-2 hours. We can source 3rd party installers if necessary.
Majority of installs, have a dedicated internet connection. Wireless connections are available to support content connection.
